ARTISTS

Anna Culpepper | 28 | Bette Davis

Is one of the City Council members and well-known musician, lyricist to be exact, having written songs that were critical to Ryan and Cohen. Often disagrees with Ryan's idea and is now feeling opposing to him and his ideals. She is very outspoken and is also shown to be caring towards her friends.
Anya Andersdotter | 29 | Louise Brooks

A designer of women's shoes and owner of her own boutique in Fort Frolic, she Anya is a very charismatic (and sexually-persuasive) woman. She also has a single daughter who was forcible taken by Ryan for unknown reasons.
Sander Cohen | 46 | Jean Dujardin

Is the composer, poet, sculptor, and playwright who was assigned to rule over Fort Frolic and was on the City Council. An animated character and ingenious (bordering psychotic) artist, Cohen was highly close to Ryan and often had competition with other artists. May or may not have been homosexual.
Stanley Poole | 36 | Andy Serkis

A reporter for the Rapture Tribune. Was soon hired by Sinclair to find proof of Lamb's ideals being more of a political movement than religion and wrote a piece on "Johnny Topside". Often tries to be amusing, but falls short, however, he is very good at alibis and lying.

INDUSTRIALISTS

Andrew Ryan | 47 | Clark Gable/Vincent Price

Owner and founder of Rapture and Ryan Industries and chairman of the City Council, Andrew Ryan is the man who holds his city with an iron grip and maintains all inside of it. He is currently trying to find a way to eliminate Fontaine and oppress the ideas of Lamb. While he's not heartless, he does put his city and business before relationships or the idea of one, but to his close friends, he does have a rather friendly and calm side to him.
Anton Kinkaide | 30 | Ben Foster

Is the creator of the Rapture Metro system and a City Council Member. Was described by Ryan as "a man with little social sophistication but a brilliant engineering mind."
Augustus Sinclair | 35 | Gabriel Macht

Owner of Sinclair Solutions, which is one of the most important plasmid-researching companies, and also owns several businesses. Runs the Persephone Correctional Facility where he contracts inmates for the Protector Program and plasmid testing. He has a Southern accent which makes him even more charming than he tends to be and has a good wit about him.
Bill McDonagh | 49 | Up to Player

Owner of the Fighting McDonagh's and City Council member, he is another close friend to Ryan, and appears to represent Ryan's "conscious", though often unheeded. Born in London and has a Cockney accent, he is a rather mellow and easy fellow to get along with as well as one of the best engineers in the city.
Frank Fontaine | 34 | Up to Player

Is the owner and founder of Fontaine Fisheries and Fontaine Industries, the lead supplier of plasmids and ADAM to the people of Rapture, also owning his own smuggling ring in the fisheries. His ultimate goal is to rip the city right out from under Andrew Ryan. Manipulative, deceiving, and determined, he is the greatest conman in Rapture.
Stanley Kyburz | 39 | Fred MacMurray

Is the head supervisor of the Hephaestus workshops who admires Ryan as "the best electrical engineer of our generation." He was also one of the people to have gone missing from Turtle Bay, Australia.
____ Sullivan | 35 | Giovanni Ribisi

The Head of Security and a City Council member, he does Ryan's dirty work for him, but is rather disgusted by the deeds he commits, including being responsible for the death of one of Ryan's favorite girls. He is a very serious person when it comes to his work and always willing to do what's needed for Mr. Ryan. Also enjoys drinking.

SCIENTISTS

Brigid Tenenbaum | 30 | Geraldine Fitzgerald

Scientist for Fontaine, she was the one who discovered the sea slug which led to the discovery of ADAM, as well as helped to create the Little Sisters. However, she began to regret having turned the children and started to reverse the ADAM-sickness in them, saving them. She is very work-driven and professional, but motherly and caring for the children.
Charles Porter | 34 | Tyler Perry

Gifted Mathematician, after the death of his wife, he left for Rapture. He ultimately created Rapture Central Control, the center for Rapture's computing power and its mainframe, and the Rapture Operational Data Interpreter Network, named "The Thinker", with Reed Wahl. Though he is clever and intelligent, he is still very depressed about the death of his wife and keeps much to himself relationship/love wise.
Gilbert Alexander | 41 | Up to Player

A scientist who worked for Fontaine, then later Ryan. With others, he helped create the Vita-Chamber, he modified the Big Daddies suits, and the bond between the Daddies and Sisters. His peak success was the creation of Rapture's automated security system and Security Bots.
John Steinman | 35 | Errol Flynn

The respected and accomplished surgeon who was designated to rule over the Medical Pavilion. Well known for his impeccable craft before Rapture and he perfected the idea of plastic surgery. Due to drug abuse and eventually ADAM, the doctor began to show signs of madness and insanity. Highly intelligent and creative, but very mentally unstable.
Julie Langford | 32 | Diane Kruger

Renowned scientist and botanist, she is responsible for the creation of Arcadia and the tree farms. She is close friends with Bill McDonagh, and although she works for Ryan, she is often compliant to Ryan's requests whether she prefers to or not. Work-orientated, she loves her work and the trees.
Reed Wahl | 39 | Peter Greene

Is the co-founder of Rapture Central Computing and co-inventor of The Thinker. He is the practical engineer to Porter's idealistic mathematician. Reed is rather power-hungry; a cheat as he abuses The Thinker to win bets and is becoming more and more obsessive over the machine.
Sofia Lamb | 37 | Up To Player

Talented psychiatrist, she works as a free of a charge psychiatrist in Rapture, asked by Ryan when unrest started in the city. Shortly after coming to the city in 1954, she has spread the altruistic ideal, to which Ryan tries to eliminate. She's caring, thoughtful, and also very powerful with her words.
